Alliestat and Emett

These two siblings – Alliestat and Emett – are close. Really close. When we asked them about their favorite memories, they always included both of them together. We love seeing two siblings love each other this much! Older sister Alliestat is a sweet girl who loves to be outside. She likes swimming, puzzles, art, and doing hair. She is not a picky eater, but does not like pop tarts. Little brother Emett is an active boy who enjoys playing outside running and jumping. He’s also a big fan of swimming. Basically, he really enjoys being outside and doing things with his sister. As you might guess from that description, Emett struggles with being hyper and has a hard time sitting still. Both Emett and Alliestat have been diagnosed with ADHD, and they both struggle with staying focused. And as the oldest sibling, Alliestat struggles with playing the parent at times (but it’s only because she had to do when they were younger). But these two siblings are ready for real examples of what love, support, and belonging are supposed to look and feel like. Both kiddos will do well in either a single parent or two parent home. They both love being a part of a family, and that gives us a lot of hope for their futures. They’re such good kids, and they want and need to be welcomed into a family that wants them.
