Lisa and John

Meet Lisa and John – two incredible siblings longing for their forever home where they can find the love, stability and support they deserve. Lisa, the oldest, enjoys doing arts and crafts, going on nature walks, and caring for her baby dolls. Church camps are a special place for her where she can connect with others and express her generous spirit by giving gifts. Lisa’s favorite foods are chili (no beans, please!), tater tot casserole, and classic mac and cheese. Lisa’s journey has not been easy. She faces challenges, especially at night as she tries to sleep, but she is resilient. She has an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) that addresses her temporary setbacks in reading and math, which are largely due to the instability and trauma she’s experienced. John, the younger sibling, is a bundle of honesty and compassion. He enjoys playing ping pong, swimming, and can spend hours building with Legos. Dinosaurs are his absolute favorite! Like Lisa, John has his own battles to fight. He sometimes struggles to regulate his emotions and finds it hard to connect with peers and follow directions. Beneath these challenges, however, is a bright, caring boy who simply needs the right guidance and encouragement to shine. With the right family, they will grow into the amazing individuals they were created to be. They need a household where rules are clear and discipline is consistent. Your love and commitment could be the key to giving them the life they deserve – one filled with happiness, hope, and endless possibilities.
