Elysia and Arianna

Many kids on the Heart Gallery find themselves stuck between two worlds. Just because the connection to their original family has been legally severed, the emotions and memories of the good times with that family don’t just magically go away. It’s natural to miss those lost family members. But those same children understand why they’re in foster care and in need of an adoptive family, and they desperately want to connect and engage with a new family. That transition comes easier for some kids than others, however. That’s where we find Elysia and Arianna. They are having a hard time navigating the waters between the good memories of their original family and the new moments to come with their new family. But both sisters know that their hopes and dreams for the future rest with you, and they are ready to forge ahead and make new family memories. Older sister Elysia is a talented musician and plays the clarinet in her school band. She also loves to hang out with friends and play with her pet guinea pig. Arianna is a sweet, caring young lady. She is a crafter and loves drawing and coloring, and you can always find her zooming around on her hoverboard. Both girls struggle with those old memories, however, and they don’t easily allow themselves to fully engage and attach with new people. But they will, with your help, and your patience and support will be rewarded with an amazing bond that will never be broken. It will be both natural and earned, and we can’t wait to hear all about it years from now. So, if you’re a two-parent family with plenty of time and patience to devote to Elysia and Arianna as they heal, please reach out and ask for more information.
