Meet our soft-spoken friend, Ovidio, whose one wish is simply to find happiness. Let that sink in – a child wishing for a happy place, somewhere to call home. Life in foster care has been difficult for Ovidio, as the constant moving from place-to-place leaves him feeling like he’s always on the outside looking in. What he longs for more than anything, is a family – a place where he can finally settle down, be cared for, and feel like he truly belongs. Ovidio’s passion shines brightest when he’s outdoors, kicking a soccer ball or showing animals in the fair. He loves learning and dreams of becoming a mechanic one day. While he loves a good slice of supreme pizza, he misses the tamales from his home country of Guatemala – comforting reminders of a culture that remains close to his heart. Like all children, Ovidio has his struggles, but he’s working hard to overcome them. With the love, patience, and guidance of a forever family, he knows he could thrive. Ovidio would especially love a family where at least one parent speaks both English and Spanish, so he can hold onto his heritage while growing in the love of his new home. Ovidio isn’t just hoping for a family – he’s longing for a place where he can feel safe, cherished, and at home. Could that be with you? Inquire below to learn more.
