Meet Amarii - a precious 2-year-old little boy who brings quiet joy to those around him. He finds comfort and happiness in simple pleasures like playing with rattles and other toys he can hold with his hands and watching his favorite shows like Bluey and Ms. Rachel. These shows really capture his attention and bring him joy. Amarii is medically fragile and will need a patient family committed to and willing to receive specialized training to provide the consistent care he needs. He is nonverbal and communicates beautifully in his own way through his expressive eyes and facial expressions. He also is non-ambulatory, but he uses a customized wheelchair to help him get around and meet his needs. He relies on his caregivers for mobility and all daily care, and he receives all nutrition, hydration, and medications through a feeding tube. Amarii would thrive in a calm, nurturing household where caregivers can focus on his unique needs and celebrate his milestones.
