8-year-old Phoenix has had his fair share of ups and downs in his young life, but it has done nothing to affect his positive outlook on things. He is amazingly confident and loves to talk and express himself. That natural confidence also serves him well as he participates in plays and the choir at church, something he enjoys very much. Like most boys his age, he’s active and loves to run and climb and do normal outside activities, but he is also known for being a voracious reader. He’s quite the Renaissance man! Like a lot of kids in foster care, Phoenix thrives on stability and consistency – at home, at school, and so forth. This past year, he’s been in the same foster home and the same school and he’s made tremendous progress in learning how to process his feelings and emotions in a positive way instead of allowing himself to fall back into the chaos of his upbringing. He’ll need a similar level of stability and consistent support moving forward in an adoptive home, along with a healthy dose of patience and one-on-one time. This investment in Phoenix will yield amazing dividends, both for Phoenix and for you and your family. 4224521
