Asa is an active teen with a passion for sports, hoping to play baseball, basketball, and football at school. He enjoys being outdoors and dreams of learning to cook and hunt. Loyal and kind-hearted, Asa is a helper by nature, always eager to improve and learn from his mistakes. A Chiefs and Raptors fan, he also enjoys video games, except for sports games. Asa is upfront about his faults, respectful, and quick to forgive. He is very talkative and loves music, which helps him through tough times. Asa's interests also include cars, and he can even imitate their sounds. His favorite color is orange and often can be seen in cowboy boots. Asa faces challenges with dyslexia and heightened anxiety when alone or in unstructured environments. He needs a routine to thrive and struggles with loud voices or fighting, which can trigger his past trauma from witnessing physical abuse. Asa hopes for a home with a mom and dad, preferably younger and active, who can provide structure and be good motivators. He prefers a family that attends church and has land where he can ride a 4-wheeler. Asa has struggled with anger but has shown improvement. He fondly recalls giving his hot wheels collection to a friend before being removed from his home, showcasing his generous spirit.
