If your favorite subjects in school included PE/sports and art, then you already have something in common with our friend, Maleik. Maleik longs to see a pair of parents in the stands, cheering him on at his football games and eager to help him channel his daredevil spirit. He remembers doing “crazy stuff” when he was younger, including riding his bike down a long set of stairs when he was three. He’s thankful all he was left with was a few bumps and bruises and a cool story! While he plays both basketball and football, Maleik says his dream is to play in the NFL…either as a wide receiver or a cornerback. But for now, he enjoys small town, small school life and attending church with his foster parents. Medication has helped Maleik manage his ADHD, so much so that he makes the Honor Roll. Arguing with classmates and negative peer influences can be a problem at times, and he is a little apprehensive around pets. Maleik is teachable. He is looking for a family who can train him up in the way he should go, as he wants to live a long and productive life. If you have wisdom, love, and space to share, you may be the answer to Maleik’s prayers!
