President of Arkansas Trucking Association
Shannon Newton serves as president of the Arkansas Trucking Association. In this capacity, Newton represents approximately 330 trucking companies, private carriers and industry suppliers on regulatory and governmental affairs in Arkansas. She also serves as the industry’s media spokesperson, executive editor of the award-winning magazine Arkansas Trucking Report, and manages the statewide trade association.
A native Arkansan, Ms. Newton, is a graduate of the University of Central Arkansas with degrees in Accounting and Computer Information Systems. She is a wife, and a mom. She and her husband Josh, and their two children attend The Church at Rock Creek and make their home in Bryant.
