Northwest Arkansas Outreach Coordinator
Project Zero
Mandy Mathews was born and raised in Waco, Texas. As recent transplants to Bentonville, she and her family are excited for new adventures in the Natural State. Mandy received her degree in Education and taught public school in Central Texas for about ten years before she and her family began their foster care journey in 2015. Alongside husband Jeremy, Mandy is now blessed to be a mother to six children spanning a nineteen year age gap.
Four of their children joined their family through adoption, sparking a passion for children and families in all realms of foster care and adoption journeys. Mandy helped launch and worked as Program Director for Foster Village Waco, a non-profit serving those in the foster care community, for six years before moving to NWA. She was thrilled to join the amazing team at Project Zero as the NWA Outreach Coordinator at the end of 2024.
Mandy enjoys baking, decorating cakes, being in nature and serving at church.
