Cara Erwin Schaefer has been involved in foster care and adoption since she was two-years-old. Her family served as foster parents for over 19 years and her two youngest siblings joined the family through adoption. Cara is passionate about waiting kids and even more passionate about finding forever families for them. She is creative, compassionate and enthusiastic as she builds hope in waiting kids and builds relationships with them. A 2014 graduate of the University of Central Arkansas, Cara serves a dual role with Project Zero as Heart Gallery Coordinator and Volunteer Coordinator. She and her husband, Boyd, live in Little Rock and are expecting their first child in December 2018.
