Riddick

For our buddy Riddick, life so far has been defined primarily by disappointment. His original family couldn’t provide him with a safe, stable home. He developed a wonderful relationship with his foster parents and dreamed they would adopt him, but adoption is not their goal. These disappointments have left Riddick with some anger issues as he tries to process everything. He also has some developmental delays, which makes it even more difficult for Riddick to balance his emotions. What Riddick needs is a patient two-parent home committed to structure, consistent expectations and consequences, and a lot of support and love. Slowly, Riddick will come to see that you are in this for the long haul and that you will be right there beside him as he becomes an amazing new addition to your family.
