Katherine

If life were a play, Katherine would place herself center stage with a spotlight and probably all the sparkles anyone could find. She loves being the center of attention and is very talkative. Who knows, maybe she is a talk show host in the making. Katherine also is helpful and sweet. She loves to read and play outside. She can be a bit of a handful as her past trauma has required her to simply survive and she has responded in the past with lying, manipulation, defiance, and aggression. Katherine needs a forever home where she can be the only child and not have pets. She will need a forever mom and dad that will advocate for her through seeking and learning what makes her feel safe and will help her heal from her past. Katherine has so much life to live. Just think about the beautiful acts that could follow, if the play of her life were currently interrupted by an understanding and patient forever mom and dad. Those acts would show love and healing. Her final scene could possibly be a beautiful picture of a woman that is surrounded by a loving family, despite the pain of her past.
